Problem
During the installation of a product from the SPM disk, the program generates an error message: file truncated due to lack of sufficient memory
Cause
SPM messaging windows were constructed to contain a maximum of 50k of information. The error is generated when this limit is exceeded.
Action
This message can be ignored. The error has no effect on the build process. The file being reported as truncated is a temporary file that holds information before it is written to the transcript file. The only information that is lost is file build information usually found in the build transcript.

Re-building the product may cause the error to disappear due to less information being sent to the messaging windows for subsequent product builds.
