Problem(Abstract)

How do you customize a JToolTip for an IlvDiagrammer?

Resolving the problem

The JToolTip object is created by the manager view's parent JComponent container. To customize your own JToolTip, you can override the container's createToolTip() method. This container can be either an IlvDiagrammer or an IlvJScrollManagerView object. If you enable scrolling by calling the setScrollable(boolean scrollable) method of IlvDiagrammer, the container will be an IlvJScrollManagerView object.

To enable the tooltips in a view, call IlvToolTipManager.registerView(IlvManagerView view). To disable the tooltips, call IlvToolTipManager.unregisterView(IlvManagerView view). However, when you create an IlvDiagrammer, its IlvSDMView (derived from IlvManagerView) is already registered with the tooltip manager. Therefore, you do not need to call IlvToolTipManager.registerView(IlvManagerView view) to register the view.
