Question

How to subclass IlvAxisTransformer to reduce periodical differently sized gaps?

Answer

This is an example of how to subclass IlvAxisTransformer. The subclass in the sample below reduces periodical differently sized gaps in the graph to the same size.

Running the sample will show two charts in different windows. The chart on the left has no axis transformer applied and shows big gaps. The chart on the right applies the axis transformer, so that all gaps have the same small size.

Note that the x-axis in the transformed chart still shows the correct values, since it is also transformed.

The Main.java file attached demonstrates this behavior.
