Bobcat container core dumps on Solaris

We have discovered a problem wherein the Bobcat container in LEIF 1.2 may crash under load on Solaris with the Sunpro 5.4 patch 111715-04.

Cause

The problem appears to stem from Native std::string memory allocation issue.

Action

---

To solve the problem, you'll need to get and install the LEIF 1.2 distribution for Solaris and the Sunpro 5.3 compiler.  This distribution works fine on all supported versions of the Solaris operating system. 

You can also continue to use the Sunrpo 5.4 compiler with this LEIF image, but we recommend that you upgrade your compiler to at least the 111715-09 patch.
