Problem

In the Tools.h++ Professional readme for the Software Parts Manager Edition 7 CD, there is a section that describes possible core dumps you may experience when using the int (internet) library.

Here is that section:

Solaris 2.51

...........................................

o At the last minute before our release deadline, we began getting cores only from the int library tests and examples. Please check our knowledge base for later breaking news and fixes.

Solaris 2.6

Action

Our development team was able to locate and eliminate the erroneous behavior in our code before the product was released. Unfortunately, the readme file was not updated to reflect this change.

Please disregard the section in the readme file that describes possible core dumps in the int library.

Tools.h++ Professional test and example code, built on Solaris using the int library does compile, link, and run correctly.
