Problem

What is the size of your applet JAR files?

I think you're asking about the footprint of the Grid. Right now, a plain grid is about 100Kb and grows in relation to the functionality you use in the Grid, based on which subclass you use.

The architecture can be explained like concurrent spheres, on top of each other. The spheres have different footprints.

We've introduced a new architecture  in Grid.J (Objective Grid/J's new name) 2.0. There is a central core with a smaller footprint, and then the functionality and features come in small modules which you can plug in at will. This customizes the Grid's feature set for your users as well as optimizes the footprint.
